  3. For me it's not so much about time but to avoid wastage. I usually can't finish a tub of miso paste before its expiry date. :(

  6. Thanks Lina, we usually find other uses for it such as a spoonful of miso to add flavor to stir-fries and sauces.

    Thanks JTM, it's a classic Japanese combo of rice, miso soup and grilled fish. Miso soup is traditionally served at the end of the meal together with gohan (boiled rice) and tsukemono (pickles).

  8. Thanks Muza-chan, that is a great combination. Tonkatsu with cabbage on the side, a bowl of rice and miso soup. Can't beat it!!
