I guess the Japanese don't really relate Christmas as a Christian holiday. It has become so commercialized in Japan that it is seen as a time for couples and a romantic time of year. Easter has never been big in Japan and they don't have a chocolate eating culture like we have in the west. I think the Easter Bunny would be a big hit though in Japan as he is so cute. Halloween has started becoming more popular in recent years :)Japan-Australiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07970708785185874284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4045859997804888278.post-48112206336216608662011-12-12T12:33:02.341+09:002011-12-12T12:33:02.341+09:00I love the Japanese strawberry cake that they serv...I love the Japanese strawberry cake that they serve for Christmas! In America Christmas is such a big deal. Well, at least in my family. We have a huge, home cooked feast; duck with cherry sauce, fettuccine alfredo. I can't imagine having KFC, or it being a work day!

Though, I'm sure Japan has a lot of really cool stuff that America doesn't have :PAmberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00299403063950508400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4045859997804888278.post-12449084574704479682011-12-09T23:12:10.142+09:002011-12-09T23:12:10.142+09:00Thanks for the links, more idea of Christmas gift....Thanks for the links, more idea of Christmas gift.
Hopefully Christmas is going to be a holiday in Japan soon.antleelihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09421353461350662583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4045859997804888278.post-37813418321609760472011-12-09T21:48:12.592+09:002011-12-09T21:48:12.592+09:00Been looking amusedly at KFC's all-out promoti...Been looking amusedly at KFC's all-out promotion for Japanese to go for a "Kentucky" Christmas dinner. xDlinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17273605189937933589noreply@blogger.com
