I love the tradition setting of a ryokan, too. Some of them have amazing onsen and the traditional Japanese food they serve is worth the stay alone :)

John Japan-Australiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07970708785185874284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4045859997804888278.post-35389366176472177352012-11-30T17:11:25.647+09:002012-11-30T17:11:25.647+09:00Makes sense. Yeah, we usually stay at one of the budget hotel chains when we travel and have been extremely satisfied. It was really good because we were greeted by a local (who spoke English) so we could ask lots of questions and get lots of good advice as to what to do in the area. It was lovely to experience living in a Japanese neighbourhood for a few days and be able to relax by ourselves for a little while.rObfOshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07467965537415271912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4045859997804888278.post-23365039969666803372012-11-30T08:37:10.288+09:002012-11-30T08:37:10.288+09:00Sounds like a pretty good deal to me, Lina.
