Satellite TV in Japan
There are various Satellite TV options available for you in Japan with the main players being Sky Perfect TV, WOWOW and BS or NHK. BS offers about 5 channels with a fee applicable every two months for use. I used Sky Perfect when I was in Japan and it was fantastic as it offered a huge variety of English channels for a quite reasonable price. There are various packages available and the standard package with about 30-40 channels was 3500 yen.
